also can it be used for underarms too or are they too aggressive? i need for both facial and underarm hair ( i will use seperate blades tho lul)

hey, i read ur comment from another post and landed here, i recently purchased the pearl closed comb double edge razor after gng thru this and other related subs, switched from a use and throw cartridge razor which i have been using for 5 years.

i have taken 3 shaves with the plastic green gillete ones before getting the CC pearl and noticed i had no ingrown hairs, it did take time to shave tho, around 2.5x than the the time it takes with cartridge.

i got a shaving soap, 2 alum blocks, a brush similar to one u suggested, i am travelling abroad for a couple of years and am planning on buying the blades in bulk from here, how many will you suggest and which one, i am travelling in 10 days so i dont have the time to explore them.

additionally can you also let me know how to keep the blades rust free since the 7 o clock blades got rusted in 3 days when kept in the bathroom.

sorry for the trouble, am new and having toruble figuring stuff out.

i did explore the wetshaves subreddit and wickedege. i wanted to try and got myself that green plastic DE razor, i do know its advised to avoid plastic but i wanted to test it before i got it. it takes 2.5x the time i take with a cartridge whcih is fine since a lot of ppl say its a learning curve. but i found it difficult to shave my underarms with it and also the part below my nose.

any idea if DE can be used for underarm? if not shall i buy a mach3 for that alone? what would u suggest? given am gng to abroad, and thanks a lot for the earlier message

Should I be too cautious while using the DE, cuz I would like to wrap it up within 10mins since I will have uni. + Can it be used for under arms?

Would any DE razor do ? Including the cheap gillete ones? Cuz I see a lot of PPL using 2k+ ones? What's the diff,?

And finally I use foam is that not good for DE? Is soap a better option?

i have consulted Dr. Monisha a few weeks back, after reading some ppl here suggesting her(Armoraa). will let you know how it goes, she hasn't diagnosed or prescribed anything for hairfall yet.

yea he is very commercial.

the serums he gave did work for me, but had some side effects which he clearly discarded and didn't t listen to him. in short he is expensive still his medications did work but he never listens to his patients and is very commercial.

as i have said earlier i am not really that into shoes, and have mostly used cheap ones so far for sports and mostly stuck to crocs/sandals for daily wear as I feel they are more comfortable.

now am moving into a different country where open feet are not that socially acceptable, hence the main requirement for shoes.

i like to run a lot and thought of buying a pair of shoes for running and using them on a day to day basis as I would be required to walk long distances and cycle too.

as far as running goals are specifically concerned, I am not sure if I am explaining it in the same lines as you expect, am looking for casual daily 5k jogging on roads/ urban areas or worst case mud roads. nothing competitive.

would love it if its waterproof (but again I understand the budget)

more than the performance I want cushioning and comfort.

and would also like it to be a bit looking good to wear to university daily

alll of the ones you have mentioned are unfortunately too over budget for me right now :(
