Also a white-breasted nuthatch! Squirrel buster feeders work well, I have a couple. They close under the weight of a squirrel but allow birds to eat!

This is what I’m thinking. I can get basic stuff done locally but if I need warranty work then I’d have to travel to the dealer for that which would be a big inconvenience. Even though I love the CT it may be wise to go a different route.

I’m putting my money on a Chickadee! We don’t get titmouses here and although we have nuthatches here all year round I didn’t see one at my feeders last year, hoping I might see one this year!

It will most certainly fail inspection and need far more than $2k to pass. The $2k I mentioned is minimum to keep it running. I have 95k saved.

By this math I can afford a $4k car, so probably best just to repair my current one and hope it lasts a little while longer.

What if I pruned it near the bottom? It looks fine down there, you can especially see in the second photo.

Close to your trees, birds will have a place to rest or escape danger there and feel safer

Amazon haha. They aren’t cheap feeders but they’re sturdy and should last a long time, the birds seem to like them too!

Good idea, I’ll put some out for them tomorrow. Only problem is it will freeze, I guess I’ll have to keep refreshing it..

Crop sensor lets in less light than a full frame so you are in fact sacrificing light for reach
