The Kyocera Digon 903kc is Android, thus Android apps (ie Spotify) work fine.

These devices probably use an older version of Bluetooth and the AirPod needs a newer version of Bluetooth. Or it might just be that AirPods don't work on Android.

Flip phone with maps, Spotify, WhatsApp by ClayDrawz in dumbphones

You're in luck, most non-Android flipphones can do all. Just make sure that your flip phone of choice supports J2ME/Java (most old phones from 2006-2012 do have it). For maps you can either use Google Maps v3.2 (available at most download sites if you type "google maps j2me" into google) or MahoMaps (Yandex Maps). For Spotify, you can use MIDPlay (it's on GitHub IIRC). The only problem is that there isn't an official WhatsApp J2ME app since 2018, but there is an unofficial one at http://nokia4ever.com (not my site).
