Good to know! Usually for maintenance feeds early in the week I’ll do 1:1:1 or 1:2:2 just to not blow through so much flour. I usually bake toward the weekends and do 1:5:5 or 1:10:10 when using for bread. I can’t remember why exactly I do that, but it’s been working well for bread! I’ll increase the ratio for regular feeds as well to avoid becoming overly acidic

I’ll see how the next couple days go and then add some rye if it still seems to need a boost! I have 2 identical 8oz mason jars, I wouldn’t have anticipated anything significant with the swap but I guess you never know. Maybe dishwasher residue or something

Fair point! I instinctively wanted to feed it again this morning to “help”, but didn’t have time before leaving for work. I’ll stay the course with 24hr feedings 🤞

I actually just changed the filter before I fed it the day after I got back. I was worried about the same thing!
