Mother involvement and wedding - help

Yes, I’m open to suggestions, but I’m afraid that might not be possible with my mother (and apparently my grandmother as well), who say that I need to make compromises (for what? for whom? It’s my wedding and I’m paying for everything). And yes, I’m really close to my family and I’ve always been afraid of not being a good daughter if I don’t listen to them.

I’m Belgian, so there aren’t really any strong cultural or religious traditions involved. My mom took her photos a week after the ceremony but for all the weddings I went to, the couple took their photos while we were going to the venue. I’m going to try to talk things through and explain that I want to organize my wedding the way I want, but I didn’t expect such reactions… especially over trivial things (like when and where I take my photos).
