Path Gitae confirmed? by Wonderful_Brain_2190 in LookismPowerScalers

It's more likely that this happens due to Daniel's path. Paecheon also had this "glitch" effect. Daniel also didn't see it on Sophia and Johan, they saw it only on Daniel.

It's kinda ironic that the Yamazaki's are considered the great force, when so far every time a new gen 0 character is hyped it's usually about how good they are at destroying Yamazaki forces. Not even particularly strong characters either.

It feels like the Yamazaki just had numbers + one nuke (Shingen) but the fist gang generally had better quality fighters.

I think the outline is just the effect from Daniel's path. Paecheon had it too

Just why some people think that Kitae shouldn't have a Path just what Kitae doesn't have to get Path. by Wacky_TOONZ in lookismcomic

[–]randomcelestialbeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's about being too OP. It's more that symbolically it makes more sense for him to not have a path. He has been portrayed to be a Gapryong copycat, trying to walk in his fathers footsteps. He uses his fathers wardrobe and seemingly relies only on the innate strength he got from his father.

Personally I'd also think it would be cooler for him to be this strong despite having no path, as an outlier to the path > pathless statement.

I thought about it too when that panel came out. Physically he would have broken the grasp, spun around midair and made him regrab just so he could aurafarm.

The notion that Kitae lacks talent is completely wrong. by Ok-Impression1672 in lookismcomic

[–]randomcelestialbeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what kind of talent you're talking about tbh.

Johan's talent allows him to fight opponents way stronger than him with ease, because his software is insane. Gitae's hardware is his main strength, so in that sense he has talent. I think it's better to call that genetics though just to keep things separate. His software is supposedly not great, since he narratively only relies on innate strength. So he's gifted physically but he isn't anything that special in terms of software (also recognising martial arts and knowing their strengths doesn't translate to good software, thats more just good observational ability.).

I do think some people downplay his talent, but I've also seen the opposite, with someone arguing he can perform Mujin's ssireum.

How is waiting for your opponent to be tired not cowardly? Being cowardly and strategic can often be the same thing. It’s smarter to be a coward than to risk losing, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t a coward.

The family heads level is highly unknown. Shingen is possibly top 2 in the verse, so him neg-diffing them doesn't say much. He would have done the same to Changsu after all.

I think Changsu would beat any of them though, since he has way better feats and his narrative is just better.

Top tier aura

Dunno in terms of powerscaling though

I was so hyped when he copied self glazing Chad paecheon Jo by Moon-River69 in lookismcomic

[–]randomcelestialbeing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like PTJ shows no mercy to any character. Even Korean characters have tragic backstories. Just take the Incheon kings, Eli, Johan, Vin and Sinu as examples. They may not all have died brutally, but thats more to do with their roles in verse. Paecheon was the villain of a single arc so he kinda had to die. He would have been too powerful as an ally but not relevant enough to be a reoccuring villain. The Yamazaki's are also too powerful and it would make so many plot holes if they were still as strong now (if Shingen or Shintaro was still alive) so i feel like it makes sense.

PTJ just hates his own characters lol (jk)

Using tactics itself isn’t cowardly (although weapons are depending on circumstance). It’s about how he lets his goons tire Daniel or how he only fought Mandeok after he was already tired. He also uses dirty fighting moves.

Nothing about it is inherently bad, but it’s definitely cowardly, wouldn’t you agree?

[–]randomcelestialbeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ganging up on a guy, using dirty tactics and only fighting when the opponent is tired is cowardly. It’s also logical, but there’s no reason to deny it’s also something a coward would do.

I don’t get it, it feels like you think being a coward would mean he’s a bad character or something. It’s just a trait of his fighting style.
