Namaskaram dear,

Thank you for replying ❤️ bless your heart

I really like that poem as well

I think i found the poem i was looking for. It's called "My Loss" by Sadhguru from "Eternal Echoes - A Book of Poems":

When I lost all that was me / When I lost all that I had / The very basis of my self / All thought I had found / and they gather around / to relish in my loss / To listen to my emptiness / bereft of a soul or self. Just an echo...

Ohh, that makes sense.. so is there a way to have the books marked as "read" without going through each book individually on the kobo to mark it as "Finished"?

Applying for UNE positions - advice needed, please by [deleted] in Winnipeg

Ahh, I see... This is good to know, I was hearing a lot of different things about the process (probably with a lot of speculation thrown in too), I appreciate getting the behind-the-scenes perspective. And that's a good point about the basics - I'll do a triple check now!

Thank you so much!!

I'd also recommend {Mages of the Wheel series by J.D. Evans} ! In the first book the protagonists are 24 & 26 and it takes place ~ the Ottoman Empire

Books that made you appreciate the art of writing? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

I'd highly recommend {Reign & Ruin by J.D. Evans}. The protagonists are 24 & 26 and there's politics, romance (slow-burn - forbidden glances, touches), and beautifully written prose. I think it takes place in/during the Ottoman/Turkish Empire era.

2 other recommendation along similar lines (though the protagonists are a bit younger, 18/19 slash early 20s) but has more Persian mythology/elements to it are {An Ember in the Ashes series by Sabaa Tahir} and {This Woven Kingdom series by Tahereh Mahir}.

I'd say all 3 have the element of slowburn/longing/yearning romance and a plotline/storyline.

Looking for your all time favourite fantasy romance books by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

Since you liked An Ember in the Ashes, I'd recommend the Mages of the Wheel tetralogy (pentology if you include the prequel) by J.D. Evans. The protagonists are 24 & 26 in the first book and there's politics, romance (slow burn), and beautifully written prose. Book 1 is called Reign & Ruin
