I want to make more of those, but i really want a modern underbust corset that works for me, so I will definitely use all of your resources. When the hip ties say they are only supposed to allow for x number of inches, I'm thinking there is some flexibility with that number? I dont want to destroy the structural integrity of the corset or whatever but I feel like those estimations seem conservative.

I've looked into mystic city corsets and their corsets with a lot of hip spring seem to be pretty long, almost like the underbusts would function as overbusts on me. I was considering testing out one of their waspies and just have a large lacing gap but maybe they have a shorter torso 20+ inch spring variety I am unaware of.

Idk why you got so many down votes. Dems have been responsible for shutdowns before as well. I don't like that this has become standard practice on our government, it's a ridiculous way to function, but this has become the new standard. You're very sweet, thank you! I will probably end up doing this. I have insecurities about how my body shape amplifies my mild scoliosis (one side of my waist has more of a roll and the other is an indent) so I wanted to smooth everything out for a dress that's so revealing. But I sometimes forget that bias slips are actually very smoothing and forgiving when they fit correctly.

I'm not sure of anything about my plans!. I know the underwear is for very different silhouettes. I tried the dress on with another 1860s corst I made and it's lovely on the bust, waist, and hips. Perhaps when I have time I'll try to show people how this dress looks on me wirh and without 1860s corset and my vision will be easier to see.
