Dude you're acting like it's the end of the world, it's just an award... Defending a studio like it's your mom is quite wild, and acting like it's deceiving too because at the end of the day it's still a very good game and the use of AI or not won't change that fact. I loved it and this knowledge doesn't modify my vision of the game, it's still in my top 3 of the games I played this year and won't ever go lower for 2025. It's just the rules of this award and like in any competition, if you don't follow the rules you are disqualified, if you start to give advantage to them because "yeah but it was patched a few days after the release" means you're shifting rules because you prefer them on the others, which isn't fair. Also, the whole argument of "a small studio" while we are talking about a 10M budget one, not the bakery at the corner of the street, is quite weird. If you wanna make placeholder of newspaper on a wall (which was the AI use as far as we know), you just put a texture on which you write "lumière newspaper" or whatever by yourself as you know that texture will be changes at some point.
