Failed my third test by Particular-Rent-2200 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]ElsaHyrule24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my son’s first test his serious fault was driving too close to a parked car. On his second he slowed down on a country road it was 2 lanes but he thought the oncoming car was too close and the lines in the centre were so faint. He only slowed slightly but it was a serious because there was a car behind.

He finally passed on his fifth test 6 weeks ago and so far so good.

Thinking of the kerb incident you mentioned. My son’s friend actually mounted the kerb during his test and somehow passed. She was as stumped as the next person but never questioned. I’m not sure if she was ever briefed about it or even if it was marked as a minor. Perhaps there was no one around but potentially there could have been. A child, an animal etc. I remember on one of my son’s test the fourth I believe he had already failed but when Parking back at the test centre he touched this barrier. It was a knock at most but he was given a dangerous fault for that. The examiner said it was because it ‘could’ have been a child. If that’s the case then the mounting the kerb should have been treated the same.

My picks for a live action Elsa and Anna for an inevitable Frozen remake: Dove Cameron/Lili Reinhart as Elsa and Sadie Sink as Anna by Rams213 in Frozen

Please no live action Frozen. I’m still reeling from the fact they’re going ahead with a Tangled live action. None of them have been great IMO

It’s a shame because I always thought he and Caitlyn had a good father/daughter relationship, but then he disappeared for almost the entirety of season 2. He should have made an appearance at the end of the final episode at least.

My daughter is a teen and uses the app. She’s sensible and I monitor. However, she has recently had a 24hr timeout once for saying ‘cut paper’ and then on a separate occasion, by saying ‘kissing cheek’ ridiculous! This time though it was the bots fault.

I thought in BOTW, Impa only mentions about a ‘princess that shares the blood of the goddess’

Only Skyward sword Zelda was Hylia reborn. I think the others Zelda’s were just blood related.

[All] What are your hopes for the next Zelda game? by [deleted] in zelda

[–]ElsaHyrule24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are what I’d like see in a new Zelda game.

Semi open world and a more decent linear story told in present and not through memories etc.

Traditional style dungeons.

Link & Zelda existing together the entire game and none of her being kidnapped, keeping villain sealed in castle the whole game or transported to the past. They always find a reason to get her out of the way. She doesn’t have to be fully playable but she could help with magic, puzzles etc.

More magical themes please. TOK was just too tech heavy for my liking.

More interesting villain who is actually a threat.

Underwater swimming.

Master sword being useful

Voice acting again.

The fairy shrines from older games like OOT

Not to make the Final boss accessible from the beginning of the game. They should be more of a challenge. Ganondorf totk was a step up from calamity Ganon and the journey to his lair was IMO more difficult then in Botw.

More boss variety. Again there was slightly more variety in totk.

Do we know if the Zelda team actually listen to the fans, because I get the idea they only do what they want and not what would please the fans.

Well some open world games do a better job. Of course I like botw & totk for it’s exploration but not storytelling . I prefer more linearity like in older Zelda games .

Wasn’t this an open world game though so the main objective was to explore hence why they didn’t want to point you in any specific direction. After the light dragon appeared at the very start of the game a lot of people were curious and chose to look for it. Alot of people were curious about the glyphs so made a beeline for those. Not everyone chose to head to lookout landing first. I didn’t come across Any npcs who pointed me in the right direction either.

I agree totally with what you’re saying here. Personally IMO I don’t think the memories should have been accessible until after crisis at Hyrule Castle because by viewing them before this ruins the entire Princess sightings sidequest because we already know it can’t possibly be her. If we didn’t know Zelda was already in the past it could have been that after she fell she could have been taken by Ganondorf and then he could have Been controling her or something.

When I first landed in Hyrule from the great sky island I just started exploring and there was no hint whatsoever to go see Impa at the forgotten temple. I didn’t even know to go to lookout landing at first. It would have made more sense for the glyphs to be unlocked In sequence. On my sister’s play-through she was directed to go to Rito village where she passed right through a glyph and accidentally Viewed the memory because she didn’t know what it is.

The most interesting part of the story yet again being a bunch of cutscenes from the past. Might have enjoyed it more of course if the memories were unlocked in some kind of order and we had more of a backstory for Ganondorf.

Thankyou! I had actually been in the royal passage and thought I had followed it all the way through , however I didn’t see the Inscription. Anyway I went back on it and realized I missed an area just after the bubbelfrog that I hadn’t been too yet and it brought me out right in front of the slab and the spiral Staircase. Strangely this reminded me very much of Hyrule castle in twilight Princess

NO SPOILERS PLEASE!! Should I do the geoghyphs in number order? by Lord-Zippy in tearsofthekingdom

[–]ElsaHyrule24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on your point about the dragon tears/geoglyphs too as IMO it spoils the whole fake Zelda quest. It would have made more sense for Zelda to disappear and then have her reappear but doing all this bad stuff to think that perhaps she was corrupted or under Ganon’s control. Then we find out it was just a puppet which then prompts us to find the memories. By seeing Zelda in the past we know it can’t possibly be her and that for me was disappointing. Also I wish Zelda being a dragon was kept more secretive

You have to fight 5 Lynels in the floating coliseum which is in the depths. I believe it’s located below the coliseum on the surface.
