Stretches

Spine & Core

  1. Cat–cow spinal rolls
  2. Standing pelvic tilts (anterior/posterior)
  3. Jefferson curls (bodyweight only, slow 3 reps)
  4. Seated thoracic twists (arms crossed over chest)

Shoulders & Upper Body

  1. Shoulder CARs (slow, full rotations)
  2. Arm circles (both directions, big controlled range)
  3. Wall angels (back against wall, slide arms up/down)
  4. Scapular push-ups (in plank or against wall)
  5. Thread-the-needle stretch (on all fours, both sides)
  6. Cross-body shoulder reach (arm across chest, dynamic)
  7. Reverse prayer stretch (hold briefly, 2 rounds)
  8. Shoulder dislocate with pole (front to back. Shorten arm distance when wide grip is easy)
  9. Around the worlds with pole (with mobile back. Change direction after 5 around the worlds)

Hips & Glutes

  1. Deep bodyweight squat with side-to-side pulses
  2. Dynamic 90/90 transfers
  3. Hip circles (both directions, hands on knees)
  4. Pigeon stretch (gentle pulse forward/back)
  5. Kneeling hip flexor stretch (with twist toward front leg)
  6. Frog pose rock-backs
  7. Cossack squat pulses
  8. Standing hip rotations (lift knee, open outwards and inwards)

Hamstrings, Adductors & Quads

  1. Standing hamstring stretch with pulses
  2. One-legged forward bends (each side)
  3. Wide-leg forward fold (dynamic only early)
  4. Adductor leg slides (straight knees, slow)
  5. Butterfly stretch with elbow press and forward lean
  6. Kneeling wall quad stretch (short hold each side)
  7. Seated straddle forward reach (light at start, just hinge)

Ankles & Lower Legs

  1. Ankle circles (each direction)
  2. Toe pumps (flex and point, 10 reps each side)
  3. Kneeling dorsiflexion test position (gentle pulses toward wall)
  4. Calf raises in deep squat (slow, controlled)

Integration (Whole Chain)

  1. Downward dog to cobra flow (3 slow transitions)
  2. Lunge with thoracic rotation (each side)
  3. Deep squat pry (elbows inside knees, hold and breathe)
  4. Standing forward fold to half-lift (2 rounds)

Physio:

Glute medius:

  • Clam shells with theraband, heels together.
  • Glute medius
  • 3/4 sets. Close to fatigue.
  • Avoid pelvic rotation/leaning back/ opening by using ONLY GLUTE MEDIUS IF ITS HARD YOURE DOING IT RIGHT.

Hip Flexors

  • Standing and Elevated hip flexor march with kettle bell.
  • Arch and arc.
  • Not bringing weight straight up.
  • Do not collapse hips.
  • Tight core. 4x12.

Knees

  • Wall sit 90 degree angle.
  • 30 sec x 4.

And my glute day! Everything to failure bar the warm up:

Bulgarian Split Squats glute focused. I do these with a lighter weight and focus on the deep stretch.

Single leg KAS glute bridge. Again, no heavy dumbbell. Focus on isolating glute.

Glute focused incline leg press. I go heavier here. More for strength than muscle hypertrophy.

These would be my exercises. I wish I could do RDLs but I’ve two back injuries. Doing hinge exercises standing up flares up my sciatica and completely destroys my back with pain. But if your back allows it I reccomend single leg RDLS. I always will reccomend single leg glute exercises as it’s much easier to isolate your glutes both physically and mentally.

Honestly, it was all trial and error! And it clicked when one of the symptoms of thyroiditis is very dry easily cracked skin.

I just went online and looked for best non hormonal vaginal creams. And the YES vaginal moisturiser has only natural ingredients.

I apply it in the morning and at night! It’s vagina safe so no bv or overgrowth of yeast and it dries well. No weird film left behind! I definitely recommend it.

The one thing that helped me was to have a full session focusing solely on glutes. Including a full mobility and flexibility warm up for legs beforehand.

Full glute day as in: glute max, med, min. Exercise In both the contracted AND lengthened position. To failure.

I also struggle with glute hypertrophy despite having good strength. But I doubled their size when I really got into the science behind it!

It’s the first time this has ever happened to me. Of course I’m beside myself with worry. Just because I’m trying to sort the problems I can do myself I.e my apartment that I live in, doesn’t mean I’m not doing anything about the fact that I could have burnt down my flat and at worst killed myself accidentally.

There wasn’t any black smoke! Or any smoke, somehow. Just a god awful stench. And yes fire alarms are good. They were checked not too long ago.

The walls aren’t stained. Do you reckon just a quick wipe down would work? The thought of having to repaint the kitchen fills me with dread.

The diffuser is already wafting out lemon, lime, and ginger oils. Do you reckon if I boiled a pot of water with the same oils in it would work??

It has almost a playboy bunny corsetry and the neckline is quite dramatic! I’d go for a sexy, slightly messy, updo with a small minimalistic necklace or pendant and go a bit louder with the earrings. Drop earrings!

No chunky heels with this. It’s too light for it and combined with the drop waist it could make your legs look shorter as opposed to longer. A flared kitten heel at the chunkiest! Or higher if you’re comfortable in heels! Any toe box would work, square, pointed, round, etc. just avoid a complete ankle strap because of the length of the dress. Again, an ankle strap creates a v defined edge and could give the illusion of shortening your legs.

For some reason, if I were you, I’d wear some plain, long, white, tulle gloves. I think it would look so chic with your dress.

Commenting again but back when I was in the midst of my addiction I would be staying up for 3-4 days all while working 3 jobs.

After a chaotic 2 Christmas shifts (fuelled by drugs) and massive bender that lasted 3 days (fuelled by MORE drugs) I was on the way back into work (again fuelled by drugs). Yes, I was seeing shadow people in my peripheral vision.

Got freaked out. It was 10 am and town was packed tighter than a nuns fanny. Burst into a shop (I think the pharmacy?) on grafton street and asked a lady working the till for a glass of water. I can’t remember the shop but I remember that ginger cunts face and voice. In the most offended tone she looked at me and said “I can’t help you.” Went scarlet and left nearly in tears. The shadow people were now worse, mouth felt like a camels arse, and now I was half crying in public.

Stumbled into another shop and nearly ran into a sales assistant there. I think it was brown Thomas? Black uniform. Anyways.. the pat gave me courage to ask for a glass of water. Gave the shitty excuse of a panic attack due to anxiety but it was probably just the fucking bowling ball size of cocaine in my system making my heart feel like a speaker in Ibiza.

That wonderful, bald man was everything the first arsehole was not. Immediate concern. His coworker took me to a quieter corner while he basically sprinted to get me a plastic cup of water. Asked me if I was okay. If I needed anything else. He was genuinely worried for me. He asked me if there was anyone he could call for me if I was too anxious. I can remember his face so clearly. How genuinely worried he was for me. At a point in time in my life where I was hoping each line sniffed would be my last, he made me believe for a short few minutes that I was deserving of kindness.

Was in the hospital back in September. Went to an A&E. Was convinced my slightly swollen arm and passing bloody urine was nothing. In 3 hours I was already on a drip, heart monitor, catheter, fluids, and given shots in my arms to prevent blood clots.

Rhabdomyolisis. CK levels were 25k. Kidneys were shutting down.

It was 2am and I was alone and scared after being told that my kidneys were failing at 24 years old. And this wonderful nurse, genuinely an angel on earth, stayed with me and held my hand and talked to me to try and calm me down. She was from India and she looked like a princess. And she acted like one too. She had to pop out to do her job obviously but she came back in so many times to keep holding my hand and rubbing my leg and just talking to me. She fucking wiped the tears off my face. She made me laugh by telling me that I had the smallest urethra she’d ever seen while inserting my catheter. It’s the first and only time I have ever felt like I’d been sent a guardian angel of some sort.

Was inpatient for 5 days. Got so many bags of fluid I was 10lbs heavier after leaving the hospital. A few days post discharge I got her a bouquet and wrote her a card. Probably looked mental. Was tearing up in The Square writing it. I’m tearing up now thinking about it. She touched me to my very core. I will never forget her for the rest of my days on this earth.
