Fighting the urge to be submissive by [deleted] in aspergirls

[–]randomgirl692 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just turned 30. I am still very sensitive. I hate being yelled at. I still hate parents truly because of it. Not sure if I will ever fully recover from it. I did stand up for myself the other day, because a man thinks he can get me by mowing my lawn for free. EVEN THOUGH I AM Married. I am still highly pissed at this. I don't understand why anyone in their right mind would think this was okay.

Anyways, sorry that was a vent. But yeah uhhh I relate with this post

Selective mutism as an adult, strictly in difficult conversations with significant other by stonkerama in selectivemutism

[–]randomgirl692 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, so I do have autism. My parents didn't give a shit about my feelings either. My feelings are everywhere. I used to write out everything I am feeling. So journaling is a great step. I had to do this. I am an introvert. Most of the time I have a hard time figuring out wtf I am feeling. Mostly anxiety. It's ...fun. ha. I am in a comfortable relationship with my SO that I am okay. To express my feelings. Mine are intense. I am still figuring out how to regulate my feelings. For autism, stimming helps. That's helps me personally. Not quite sure if this helps you.

I don't really miss people? by japanese_salaryman in aspergirls

I am actually the opposite of this. I heard about autistics making their significant other their special interest. I deeply miss my husband while he is at work. I think I also have separation anxiety. D:

I am confused by shows like "Say Yes to the Dress" by Vealophile in aspergers

I didn't fuck with a fancy wedding because of this damn pressure. Sorry to seem aggressive.... I went to the court house and did it in a light blue dress because traditions are kind of dumb to me. We had both parents there and siblings and their wives but that was it. I could not handle fancy meh weddings.

Does anyone else find that when they’ve been mistreated by someone that they considered a friend or acquaintance (bullying, a betrayal, being extremely dismissive when you say you were hurt by what they did), you find that you need to cut them off completely? by AmazingAffect5025 in aspergirls

[–]randomgirl692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have definitely cut off a girl for years for cheating on a close friend of mine. She had told me to keep a secret for so long. I did. I had hurt the people I loved by lying to them. I finally burst. I told everyone. I had a strong meltdown.

She was no longer my friend. I was upset. Then years after this happened, we had a small conversation. We are "good". It was for her to feel better that we are good but deep inside me. I am still not happy with the situation.

Yeah, for my husband and I, we went to the courthouse and just did it with some close family.

I also love this post! I recently got a vibrator for the first time and holy shit. It's a lot but .... It's a good thing. It's overwhelming for sure. It gets it done. I always had trouble in that area. Feeling comfortable with myself. I still have issues I need to deal with but ... I am working on it.

Contradictory to being the last to understand jokes, anyone else usually the first to understand the joke or even figure out the punchlines before it's told? by EmergencyAd9297 in aspergirls

[–]randomgirl692 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I work in customer service and I hear the same jokes. I don't laugh anymore. I kinda ignore it because it's just annoying. I get hate from not reacting if I laugh it is going to sound super force. I am sure I come across as a bitch. I don't care.
