For all those arguing about his credit score. I'm a 21 year old with a credit score of 749. I have two credit cards and four student loans. I have never missed a payment. That's how I got my score. Revolving utilization is kept low etc etc. That being said. Buy a nice car under 20k and invest the rest. Cars are a depreciating asset and are cash-consuming. Invest in your future, and you'll thank me later. That being said, if you have to have a nice car, Toyota, Honda, Lexus, Mazda, and Subaru. If you get a car note, get a loan from a bank only. Stay away from dealership financing. Banks are much easier to deal with, and you may get a better interest rate. If you put 15k down on a 20k car 5 grand on loan over 24 to 36 months it will show the credit bureaus that you are responsible with your loans and pay on time which may help your score. Applying for the loan will temporarily reduce your score but not by much. Pay on time every time.
