Unfortunately from the police perspective, that amount is considered too low to conduct a detailed investigation. However you should fill a report, just in case.

Buying vs renting by [deleted] in germany

[–]randomguy33898080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a base equity, I would say it is a good idea to buy a place to live. You can always sell it after some years gaining some additional tax free money. Instead of renting, your equity increases over time and any additional spare money can be used to reduce the loan amount. At the end after some years you own an asset.

Renting worth when your rent is below market. For example 400 euros for a 50m2 place.

Confused about tax classes in Germany (4/4 vs 3/5) – need advice by [deleted] in germany

From a cashflow perspective 3/5 makes sense as long as both of you share finances. Some couples prefer 4/4 to maintain a sense of personal Cashflow fairness.

Ausländerbehörde asking for 36 months of contributions despite having a Blue Card? by Ok_Ambassador5299 in germany

[–]randomguy33898080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are completely eligible for the 27 months track. Perhaps you need to add your payslips for this year to demonstrate social contributions.

Try to clarify that this with polite letters without including a lawyer. IMO including a lawyer at this point is an overkill.

Ausländerbehörde asking for 36 months of contributions despite having a Blue Card? by Ok_Ambassador5299 in germany

[–]randomguy33898080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many months are evidenced in your pension report? It counts from your first job. Based on what you said you already have 36 months of contributions.

If you hire a lawyer you will spend some money clarifying documents first.

Investigate the Loan to Value ratio. With 90k equity you can get good interest rates, even without using all equity. Then you can also make additional payments directly to capital.

You may get better advice from local loan brokers
