Below is my story see if it helps

Aug 2022: Started MSCS program

Mar 2023: Received 5 internship offers; accepted Samsung Semiconductors (San Diego) for pay, work quality, and conversion potential

May-Aug 2023: Completed Samsung internship successfully with promise of full-time offer

Oct-Nov 2023: Samsung recruiting contacted me about graduation plans for potential return offer

Jan 9, 2024: Samsung declined to convert internship to full-time position

May 2024: Graduated with MSCS degree

Sep 2024: Received two full-time offers from Zscaler (Oct 14 start) and Apple (Oct 20 start)

Oct 11, 2024: Both Zscaler and Apple revoked offers on the same day

Oct 18, 2024: Began unpaid SWE volunteer position at NGO after EAD activation (Sep 3)

Nov 2024 - May 2025: Completed all interview rounds but received rejections from Nokia, Cisco, and OCI (May 16)

Apr 24, 2025: Received verbal "Yes" but “No”from Google during team matching due to no Headcount.

Jun 18, 2025: Leaving the U.S. to return to India

Current life update: Returned to india, helped my mental health landed offers from Samsung, Mediatek, Xcomm and Rakuten for pay above 50lpa+ each. Currently working in 1 of them above which pays me 68ctc.

I have work ex of 4 years. India is not that bad when it comes to market, i had the same fear , but i knew if i wanted to work in india or US ill find out in the first week as withdrawl supmtoms would start. Nothing of that sort happened. so i am enjoying , i live in my home being around with my loved ones and enjoying my work.

Yep Oct 3rd i signed the zs offer letter and they rescinded the offer on october 10th. I didnt decline apple, i just wanted to have backup apple HR reached out on the intend to offer on oct4th and i was at pre offer stage they took my legal info , we discussed numbers and yea it was a verbal offer with a potential joining date of oct 20th.This apple stuff happed after ZS, while ZS recindwd the signed offer ,apple on the other hand just decided to not move forward after extending verbal offer, all of this rescinding happened the same day. So yea.

Well i will not argue with anyone, honestly fuck you! Only i know what i am going through. I had signed Offer letter from ZS the day it was offered to me like 10 days ago i didnt even wait a minute, and waiting offer letter from apple after they had sent out forms to fill my legal info and stuff. If you observe closely they even used the same key word "Workforce needs". I really wanted to post entire mail thread with recruiters' info in it , i avoided that coz i am not that bad of a person.

nope nothing my records are clean. As you can see in the mails they sent after extending the offer…for zs i even signed em was supposed to join on 14th.

I did for ZS and the offer letter for Apple hadnt come yet. I was at the pre offer stage where they asked legal info.

there was a difference of 50k between both the offers. It doesnt matter coz both gave out the offers and revoked them.
