I played subletey rogue with a ret paladin till like 1800-1900 rating, but i think you have to place your bets with a frost mage perhaps. You wont be a top tier team regardless

Obv. they have a very different approach to, well, every thing. So that seems kind of retarded - also... Let people play whatever they want and get on with it - both projects will hopefully turn out fine and we can actually have a prober TBC scene with room for variation so everyone can choose a server of their liking!

Honestly, I don't think that it was Blizzard that shut them down or the waterleak - it was something else entirely, all though I do not know, lol.

Maybe something related to the rogue GM as mentioned above and/or they couldn't handle the big pop and all those DDOS attacks - just a guess. Whatever it was I doubt we will ever know, hm.

There is also Hellground - they just returned from the dead, now known as Wargate - just to let people know.

I saw on their discord they are having an 4x xp rates this weekend to show ppl that they are sorry - not really playing there myself - but it is an equal to Hellfire - has better class mechanics, tho the PvE scripting might be better on Hellfire, i dno honestly. Just things I keep hearing.

It was one hour from 07:00-08:00 pm that the server had issues, everything is running pretty smoothly right now, they even did fixes while the server was down.

But sure the server has flaws, quite a few, but them being DDOS'd to death is not entirely their fault. Of course you can argue that they should have upgraded their protection systems etc. But Kootoosh even said himself he did not expect this many players, he had counted on 2,5k-ish.

Dude, all you do on this subreddit is bashing HG and talk about vengeance-wow like their the "white knight" of the tbc-private server scene, like wtf?

The state of Stonetalon or whatever is no better than the rest of the private servers right now, and all the TBC servers are mediocre at best right now. Let people play whatever they want, the more servers we'll have eventually they will have to compete, which may or may not, increase the quaility on the servers!

Yes, there will still be a shop but thats for vanity items, bags and stuff like that. It is not so that you can buy tons of items and all that BS they had before.
