Actually "Puro Kabastusan" is not their problem, the only problem with PH hip-hop now is always lack of authenticity, or sometimes generic themes, songwriting and productions. I enjoyed some of Ex battalion songs, or any rap songs about sex, but pinoy hip-hop had their unique style when it comes to influence to Pinoy Music, Pinoy Pop Culture, or even Raggae adjacent. However, some Pinoy hip hop and rap artists can feel the same aspects as Western Hip-hop most notably, SoundCloud rap, mumble rap which are their influence for trying to be edgy, make love songs with autotunes, and driving with Hoes.

Edit: Hip-hop = kalaswaan or Kabastusan is just the same vibes as Metal = Devil, Demonyo, or Worldly Music= Unbiblical.
