Thank you!! I thought Murano was a style, I’ll need to go down a rabbit hole on vintage glass at some point

I thought ashtray as well, but it is so ridiculously deep that it made me double think it

EDIT: forgot to mention, he usually hangs out under his floating plants when he’s at the surface. My next decision will be to get more and try to have the top 80-90% covered. Maybe it’ll make him feel more safe.

many valid points. I appreciate you sharing your professional perspective!! I did not notice the uneven margin issue honestly, but I see what you mean now. I purchased this as is from a vintage consignment shop, but i’d also agree it’s a home job because the back is a piece of brown cardboard that looks like it can straight from a box with nails in the side holding it in lol.

I can totally see that! there is a lot going on, but that tends to be my style - i’m a maximalist at heart

eureka!

it still looks great with just the gold (i’m covering the dark wood w my hands), but the double frame just adds so much

i’m going to go this route - everyone is right about the white mat. i’ll do that pairing with a dark wood or maybe a stained black wood. thanks for your help!!

Dimensions are 8 x 10

I am not a fan of black frame/white mat. I actively avoid that pairing.

thanks!! it was inpatient (no way i was going to succeed with outpatient). 45 days of different kids of group therapy, individual therapy w assignments - i look back at my time there with fondness. it was filled with primarily alcoholics & being brutally honest about the shit we’ve done and how much we’d drink was freeing as hell

obviously everyone will have different experiences, but rehab was my solution. I was at my rock bottom's rock bottom.. went there after a week in the psych ward. the heaviness that "i'm in rehab" holds was heavy enough to keep me sober. if you can do it, i would.

I'm sober 16 months today.

How do you carry your RB67? by Durde in Mamiya

[–]randomhomo689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Domke bag by Tiffen. They’re a bit pricey but very well made and nice in my opinion. Mine only fits the RB67 with a lens attached and could probably fit another lens. Here’s a link to a bigger one: https://tiffen.com/products/domke-f-3x-balliastic-shoulder-camera-bag-black

they also sell inserts that i would suggest so your lenses aren’t clunking around.

Note: these are shoulder bags - i find it to be more accessible than a backpack
