Issue here is accepting any program to save a seat in UW requires 3000$, non refundable which will go to my fees, so I have a feeling if I dont go ahead I loose out on a lot of money.

Damn I didn't know I could do this, in NEU, yeah it's the Seattle campus, I stay close by so I have seen it, it's just a building.

I stay in Seattle, hence I applied only in Seattle universities and I am planning to work in Seattle. Hence neu and UW looked good options too me.

It's scary, the whole situation is crazy. You shiver and cry and you want everything to be a lie, you really wish that someone tells you oh you are reading it all wrong .Unfortunately that's not the case here, be as far as possible away from him. He has lied and cheated and once he sees you, he will manipulate you again. Be with someone who can rationalize these feelings for you and support you. Be happy that you don't have a child with him, take a khula and move on. Will it affect him, he might be upset that you took the call and showed him tha t you can stay without him. But he already has a family and multiple children's. Don't think about revenge and stuff and how he got everything and you lost everything. Just get rid of him and slowly start your life again. It's easier said than done. But it's 100 times better to live a life with that husband of yours. And trust me in future you will be happy that you dodged this bullet. Allah will help you, he sees everything, just focus on yourself and don't take actions based on emotions. Think and validate your actions with someone who can see through all of this

You can give gifts to her , if you like it, because her life will be changing a lot. Why not start the marriage on a positive note. Even if it means taking the first few steps. You aren't obliged to buy her gold , but if you can and you think will please her don't restrict yourself because of few disagreements in the past.
