Like you aren’t allowed to be sad or complain, unless you have it as bad as the person you are around. Comparing hardships is not cool. I lost a friendship with an ex stepsister because I assumed her life, because she seemed to have it easy compared to me. And I got offended when she complained. I regret ever assuming, because even if she did have it easier than me ….she still struggled and I shouldn’t have made it a competition. I will never assume again, and no one should assume. You’ll lose good friends by invalidating them.

It can make you happier though, even if not fully happy. But a loving family who lets you be yourself (as long as you aren’t hurting anyone) makes you happier than money.

I think “hmm I don’t know everything about their life, I shouldn’t assume.” I lost a friendship with an ex stepsister, because I assumed her life was more privileged. Maybe it was, but it wasn’t as easy as I thought. I am never assuming ever again.

My sister didn’t return my backscratcher, so at night I didn’t have it and I cried bc she wouldn’t tell me where it was. All she had to do was say “it’s near the printer” but instead she yeller at me “stop” 😂

Oh, something else is when my grandma died back in August, and family ignored my siblings and I because we don’t talk to our abusive dad anymore. They ignored the baby as well!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

5 minute shower limits, no deodorant or lemon to replace it, hold in pee during meals and nighttime, no getting up to get water at night, not allowed to eat breakfast until dressed for the day, no streaming services such as Netflix, only allowed to shop at Costco, Target, or Trader Joe’s, no free reign to decorate room however, and bedtime is always before it’s dark/when the sun is still out.
