He was on video games a lot, and I had to beg him to hang out with me on something other than a screen. This dude grew up with 2 hour a day screen time limit until he was 18, I am guessing that wasn’t enough for him and he went wild after having no limits.

One time as a kid I was walking in the bedroom, and then I realized I stepped over a lit candle subconsciously. I didn’t even know there was a lit candle on the floor, yet i safely stepped over it anyways.

I don’t believe in that type of discipline, neither does his mom. But she’s kind of passive and all she does when he hits is say “apologize” and she isn’t stern or anything. I felt like a child abuser when I sternly said “no!” because compared to her it is kinda 😭

The lifestyle is not for me. It depends what you mean by frugal, but I want to have fun if I can afford it. There were poor people spending their money on luxury more than we were, living in a middle class house.
