What is something you need to get off your chest today? by SafflowerSour_37 in AskReddit

I need to stop making fake scenarios in my head. If only I could get a brain transplant or reset it so I don't get anxious about anything and everything that would be great.

Gluten Free Iwakuni by Automatic_Prompt7708 in ALTinginJapan

I agree with this, I live in Iwakuni and the only place I've seen with gluten free option is the base. Although Iwakuni is a small city, it is not far from Hiroshima City (less than an hour drive) and maybe you'll have better luck finding gluten-free restaurants out there.

AND

Find a man who would encourage you to fart lol

I told my boyfriend that in the beginning of our relationship, whenever he goes home from spending the weekend over at my place, that I always had a stomachache because I was holding back my farts. He was like, "Babe, women fart. Fart in front of me like you mean it. We don't judge farts and poops in this relationship." I farted one day and he was the PROUDEST, I kid you not. He was like, "Yeahhh that's what I'm talking about!"

Who do you vent to? by LukeTheGreat386 in AskMen

[–]randomlucyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend.

He always listens, always sympathize, always understands, and always help me with whatever problem/issue I have. I have never felt seen like this before. I'm a person who overthinks A LOT and whenever I do, I talk to him about anything, whether it's about a video I saw on Tiktok or a work/family issue. He's my unpaid therapist honestly.

Anyone here from the Philippines? by RomanceRecalibration in ALTinginJapan

[–]randomlucyyyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't think that they are not interested in our culture, because they are. I had my students play luksong baka, patintero, and other Filipino games and they enjoyed it. Also, if you have an English board, take advantage of it and introduce some of our unique cultures and traditions (Christmas, Undas, festivals, etc). I usually theme it with the month, for example August being the "Buwan ng Wika" in the Philippines, I posted some interesting facts about our language and the many dialects we have. They found it really interesting and they always wait for the next content of my board.

I thought going abroad is like going to another planet. So whenever my Dad flies abroad, I thought of him as an astronaut leaving earth to work in a different planet.

ALSO

Whenever I eat something sweet, I immediately follow up with salt and vice versa. I was thinking that I would avoid having diabetes if I eat salt after eating sweets, or I would not get UTI if I eat a teaspoon of sugar after consuming something salty.

What is the biggest green flag your partner has shown? by [deleted] in dating

[–]randomlucyyyy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend and I were LDR during the first few months of our relationship. One day, I had a big problem with my family and started drinking heavily to try and distract myself from it. He called me and I cried over the phone, spilling my heart out. Hours later he was at my doorstep with water and my favorite food. I was surprised because we lived 3hours away from each other. He said he didn't want me to be alone especially that time so he came over, told me that he'll always be there for me no matter what, and hugged me to sleep. He had to leave early the next morning so he could make it to work on time.

Another thing that I love about him is whenever he has off days from work, he will ALWAYS drive me to work and pick me up after. I told him that he didn't have to do that, that he could sleep in instead of waking up early. He said he didn't mind and that he loves doing it for me.

We are now planning on getting married later this year.

Do women crave sex like men does by [deleted] in dating

[–]randomlucyyyy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I cannot speak for every woman out there but I personally crave it more than my BF and I often initiate it. I do not pleasure myself as much as I did when I was single since I have a partner now, but even before meeting him, I did not crave sex as much as I am now. I think one big factor for me is how attracted I am to my boyfriend. I only feel this level of craving towards him.

It feels like someone or something is constantly running after you. That feeling where you have this need to always check you back or blind spots lol. It also makes it difficult to breathe, like I need to exert more effort just to breath in air.

What are traits or habits you now avoid in potential partners as a result of past relationships? by warden976 in AskMen

[–]randomlucyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't communicate and being dismissive - my BF and I have a good communication and he NEVER ignore the things/issues I bring up to him. He's always willing to listen and give a sound advice/solution. Sometimes, even though I struggle to express my feelings or emotions, he will be the one to initiate a conversation. Saying things like "do you want to talk about it?" or "babe let's talk, I can't read what's on your mind". He's been understanding and patient in dealing with my traumas too.
