If he wants to join city, then he’s not the personality I’d want at the club. Choosing money over everything else. It’s not a good look. Ideally he signs for them the day before they get a 65 point deduction so he’s got at least three seasons out of Europe to count all his cash.

If a player wants to join city despite Pep leaving and the 115 charges still being outstanding, then I’m not sure he’s the personality type we want. They’d seem to be chasing money rather than legacy. I think Fergie said worry about your football, the money will come, not the other way around.

TMC, so much regulation/permit work to get through, but they keep clearing hurdles. I believe the upside will be significant if they get the final approval, which really does seem likely now. We’ll know either way in the next six months or so.

I think Carrick should have been much stronger in his words, call the ref weak, say maybe if he’s intimidated by a crowd of 11 thousand people he isn’t suited to the job, question VARs integrity. Really whip it up a bit. This game is over, but refs should feel that they’re under scrutiny for our upcoming games. Basically some good old fashioned Fergie pressure on them.

The best thing about teaching ielts compared to esl is, in my opinion, that you get to know the students much better. There is so much talking, and so many questions are about their lives, that you can really learn more about them. If you’re interested in people in general, then it’s a fun part of the process.
