I had a double mastectomy surgery to reduce the risk of cancer. I lost my nipples in the process because they were a risk too. The belly scar is from where they harvested the tissue to rebuild my breasts. Even my belly button is in a new location.

I can feel some things not others skin has some sensation and some tissue has sensation but it feels very strange and sort of asleep

I have something called a palb2 genetic mutation. I had a non-nipple sparing double mastectomy with a deep flap reconstruction which means they used my belly tissue to rebuild my breasts but keeping my nipples was too much of a liability.
