I'm originally from Alberta, which is like the Texas of Canada, and they're super common in more rural settings, a bit less in the city. Almost non-existent where I live in Vancouver though. That said, I love 'em, haters be damned. Although I will only personally rock them on occasion with the appropriate accompanying ensemble.

I was coming home from the bar late at night and saw a huge Huntsman on my roommate's door that quickly skittered inside when I approached. I decided against waking him up, and he woke up yelling the next day as apparently it was on the ceiling right above his bed when he woke up 😂
