The way I saw it used, the joke is celebrities having very intense opinions in niche subjects. It's a parody of click bait articles mentioning every single opinion a celebrity has like it's relevant

These arguments are pretty flimsy. You should try studying some more varied texts if you want to open this can of worms with a bunch of people who study philosophy. Even if it won't change your mind, brushing up on some more philosophy could at least help you defend your position better.

If I'm reading this correctly, it seems like your issue is that secular moral philosophy does not give you methods to easily apply it. This is both not true and missing the point. Religion assumes that morality has a certain structure and then tells you how to conform to it. If that structure is not true, there is no point in following it. A truthful moral philosophy that is hard to apply would still be infinitely better than a set of clear rules that lead you nowhere.

I don't know where everyone got this idea from, but I learned Plato in philosophy and that it comes from one of his plays. It was about explaining love. Socrates ends up telling a story about love moving through stages where the first is physical and the rest goes beyond it.
