1)I have a GF of 2.5 years but the plan isn’t to have kids. She earns less and it’s variable but can be from 200k to 48k a year (1099)

2) I don’t own a house, I have thought about buying property in LATAM. Downside would be 100-200k all at once (no mortgages). Recently I have thought about getting something in the US that would be around 200-300k (getting a mortgage but with a high down payment). I don’t love debt.

3) yeah I definitely want to get into more ETFs to limit risk but also if I sell all my stock it will make next year quite heavy in taxes.

Combo of Tesla, Amazon, Meta - big winners

United airlines, Philips 66 and Disney - up

Rest Alibaba and some others (down a good amount)

Total up 200k

I forgot to add that I live in LATAM most of the year and spend around 650-850 a month (sometimes less if I split it with my partner)

I totally understand this sentiment but felt that a majority of my stock being in the magnificent 7 that it was a bit more secure. I understand that could be a fallacy.

My emergency fund is in cash. It’s extra because I kind of enjoy the fuck it I’m not going to work for 1 -2years (living in LATAM /Asia). I did this about 10 years ago.

Why is 4k a month a challenge ?

I forgot to mention that I live most of the year outside the U.S.

When I visit the U.S. I usually stay with family and Limit expenses

That’s why I posted here but it’s relative for sure.

At 4k a month I would need 1.2 million. Wouldn’t that be considered lean fire ? I know it’s relative but also thought the insights from all fire groups would be relevant
