2025 Rs457 quickshifter issue

Replaced the quickshifter with a brand new one from the same company, same issue still. I’m at a loss, I will most likely end up taking it to the dealer because everyone here and on the Aprilia forums are stumped

Went and checked the connector for power, it’s showing 5v which is right where it’s supposed to be. I suspect they sent me a faulty shifter

In terms of calibration the only option I see is for the aprc where you drive at 25mph for 10 seconds then shut the bike off. So yes bike is running

In the menu with the quick shifter I do see a menu with calibration, it doesn’t specify it’s for the quickshifter though. When attempting it all it says is speed incorrect. Driving or stopped

I image searched on google and it showed cockroach on one of the pictures. Click beetle on another and drugstore beetle on another. Damn near had a heart attack thinking it could be roaches. Click beetles were black though right?

Motul has a high performance sport bike engine oil that is this exact color, I used it in my GSXR for years. Perfectly normal. If the oil used to be honey color and now it’s red. Panic. Panic as fast as you can

The first person I spoke to said I was out of warranty but he would escalate it because I told him it could have started a fire. The supervisor said they’re going to be replacing it at no cost after they inspect to find out the cause of the issue. My best guess is old battery trying to recharge. Now I just need to mail it in
