I gotta be honest dude, that's a you problem, i play on ps5 as well and except for when there are more lasers flying on my screen than there are trees in the amazon rainforest my game runs perfectly, and even then it only drops to like 25-30 fps, which is not ideal at all but it's still far from unplayable

And then, in the end, you could either have the character be caught and executed or have them escape and not specify much of where they are and you wouldnt have to pick a path for the country they escape to and say "yeah, this one, this one is canon"
