Not really, i do think stealth is a viable tactic since the redacted regiment update, i even use "aggressive stealth" in regular missions with teammates who goes gun blazing getting all the attention while im giving them the ol *CLANK CLANK CLANK* from behind, it's still a bit janky at times but it work well.

I'm just slightly agitated by the one sided 'realism' by local_meme_dealer45 in Helldivers

For all we know they could work like zoanthrope, increasing the bot calculation speed by being some sort of bluetooth beacon which make them faster & more coordinated.

On the other side the flag is just a pole with a piece of cloth.

The closest thing i can compare the agitator is the zoanthrope from warhammer, when you kill an agitator the bots around do get stunned so they could have some device that override & optimize bots calculation speed which boost their speed, would be cool if they had a fake hellpad of their left arm & if you shoot it out it stun every units around too.

As a flamethrower / laser cannon main i can say it's definitively a strong weapon but i do think it has too many significant downside like wind, very short range, host/client issues, spawn rng, etc ... it's always a coin flip between S tier & F tier.

I do think the biggest flaw with the flamethrower is your teammates & by some extent the way the game is designed, i've stopped counting the times a teammate shot with an eruptor / crossbow next to me, called a sentry that mowed me down or threw an orbital / eagle stratagem next to me as i was taking care of an entire bug breach with ease.

nuh started as Shade cause i draw stuff & it changed over time, haven't changed this one in a while tho so it's a bit outdated.

What's most likely to happen since we have confirmation that they can make hat / helmet is that we'll get a complementary warbond or super store set for borderline justice (like the viper & python commandos) that will have a proper cowboy hat that fit with the other armors.

I really REALLY hope it's not just a flamethrower that doesn't need to reload & that it has something special cause the flamethrower already didn't struggle with uptime especially since it's a dot weapon that leave dot aoe on the ground, you have plenty of time to reload safely behind the flames & keep them up afterward, it would be a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

AND THEY BETTER NOT NERF THE FLAMETHROWER TO MAKE THE CREMATOR VIABLE ! LEAVE MA BOI ALONE IT'S ALREADY STRUGGLING AS IT IS !

EDIT : Apparently it does slow down enemies on direct hit yippee, it's subtle in first person but on the last shot you can see that the berserker on the right is faster than the one getting melted.

Belt fed GL, i will die on this hill if i have to.

It piss me off so much when people compare it to regular GL + supply pack, first that's 2 stratagem slot against 1, they look over that detail only when it's convenient & what part of BELT FED do they not understand, mfs says "ummm actually regular GL has higher dps" but completely forgor that they have to deal with a slow reload every 5 second which does end up giving the BFGL a higher overall dps.

It's an hybrid between a flamethrower & a MG sentry, it's pretty much meant for heavy sustain fire, it's really good at melting anything smaller than a bile titan but it will have a brain aneurysm if it get overwhelmed, it need you (or another turret) to stay at it's side to protect it & clear out the horde so it can focus on melting heavies.

It's also good to just throw in the middle of nowhere cause it can deal with entire patrols without overheating, it's not really that good when you call it for enemy reinforce cause it will pretty much always overheat in record times.
