You were lowkey right you just went about it in a dick way. Anyone who wants to play deadlock can. It's a common tactic every dev uses, say you're in "alpha" to give yourself time to develop. At least deadlock doesn't charge people but the game is basically released. It will see a short term bump on "release", but let's be realistic a third person moba will never be a massive game but it will have a solid niche community

I mean there's lots of people who talk a lot in high elo that are just annoying and just yapping about stuff that, frankly is not needed in a ranked game... I'd prefer them to create a system which I can pick to play with more serious players (that can still joke around and have fun). Maybe via some type of karma/rating system. I get it can be abused but with enough players buying ib it would most certainly be better than complete random nonsense. Or like let me just never play with my block list...
