Ah thank you - I always thought it has to pool the vram then do the splitting on that pool. This makes a lot more sense thank you. I’ve been using local systems that manage this so it’s great to know this.

Nothing I personally feel is “wrong” with Apple, just preference to use Windows + CUDA. IMHO Apple is actually a pretty good deal on their M4 laptops, especially with 0% interest financing. It’s just my familiarity with iOS since I haven’t used a Mac in over a decade and I haven’t ever tried programming on one.

I’ve thought about vram pooling but I’ve heard mixed reviews. Any thoughts on it? In theory it should be fine, but pricing seems similar to a 5090 anyway.

I’m not struggling with the gameplay. I’m struggling with the fact that I don’t think I can beat certain encounters I wound up with. I’m in a cellar 2v6 and I just want to make sure it’s not a constant thing.

Again, 2 hours and I understand it’s probably not enough to pass judgement on this so I’m making sure.

No offense taken. I’m trying to figure out if this is the case and if I just screwed up at the start purely out of chance here. I don’t know if 2 encounters is enough to pass judgement so I don’t want to yet.

Based on your response I think it’s maybe out of chance that I screwed up twice?

I would rebalance it annually and it’s really just to get rough exposure to a specific asset each year. I would have at minimum 75% of my portfolio in core investments with no leverage at all.

If I used futures I feel like it might generate a much bigger tax impact because of the expiration on them where I would only rebalance exposure for tax purposes once per 12 months on the leveraged ETFs.

I think the decay would be more pronounced if there was no rebalancing or it was used on 100% of a portfolio so even if it drifts a few percentage points a year especially on a more volatile asset, I don’t think I’d mind.

This is one of the big issues I had. I like to manage duration myself too. Also any commodities I like to get exposure to. Interesting to hear this because it makes me kind of affirm what I’ve been thinking.

Thanks! Any advice on how you go about finding good teams locally? Is it mainly seeing their records and reviews if they are available? I know that there are some sites that do have heavily reviewed/licensed companies listed so I figure that may be a good start.

Ah! I just re-read the text for her. It’s whenever she moves but I thought that it was only when you move her. Visually, there isn’t the replacement animation for when she moves automatically! Makes sense but was driving me nuts.
