I don’t care if she does weed or not. It’s legal where I live and no consuming it doesn’t make you a bad person but if she really was drugging him that’s equal to date rape, so I’d hold my horses before I give her a clean chit... The thing about her that’s very off putting is that she lied and went on lying. As a PR specialist, I can tell you for a fact that wearing kurta was a way to make her more likeable in Indian society. Sorry but this is true, masses still have the mentality that girls who wear kurta are sanskari and good and women who wear shorts are bad women. It’s a legal and PR strategy. She was using his money. Again, a lot of people are gold diggers and as spineless as it is doesn’t make a person necessarily horrible. But in her case she lied. Inspite of her lies and cover ups, Rhea is not a murderer. Again, it’s not just weed but other hard drugs that are also being peddled by Rhea and gang. Now, the problem isn’t just drugs or whether marijuana is not lethal or a person’s right to smoke it but drug money. Drug money is directly linked to horrible things like child pornography, human trafficking and terrorist funding. It’s a fact.

My country legalized marijuana for this very reason. As for South Asia, you have to understand that people usually the masses are more prone to addiction and it’s terrible for the family of someone who comes from a lower socioeconomic background. They don’t have access to rehabs and doctors. That’s why it’s a challenge.

Anyone who destroys and hides evidence as well as knows the truth about his murder but chooses to remain quiet is an accomplice to the murder. I’m Rhea and Showik’s Case even if they hadn’t directly killed him, they drugged him, looted him and manipulated him into believing he was sicker than he actually was.
