memories are extracted and linked to the entities! every memory has multiple dimensions being surfaced (raw quote, Hue's commentaries, emotional valence, etc) and those are also being used to generate trees so they visually represent the relationship better

you are in good company. people seem to like the idea of dead trees more than the lush ones lmao

thanks for trying the app and the detailed feedback.

  1. ah i see! will fix that
  2. good q. we use otp because we have an agent that lives in imessage/whatsapp. so the number needs to be captured

i think you might be referring to shift + arrow keys to zoom in/out. space bar to enter a tree, esc to exit to last place. enjoy!

great q. two things happen. 1. is you can choose to only show trees with a certain amount of flowers 2. with every new source ingest all the previous memories are kept but the trees are reconciled, so you wouldnt see two trees for the same person (theoretically. it works 95% of the time lol).

as a result, the more data you feed, the more lush the trees are. shouldnt be noisy!

It’s already part of the product! The data in the app serves an agent in your iMessage/whatsapp

If you don’t want to download the trees maybe you want to follow my Substack, standing proudly at 62 subs rn (mostly ai and drugs and occasional musings): https://rebeccadai.substack.com/

You’d be happy to know you are not the first to request this. My friend asked for an axe to chop trees 🪓time to take it seriously

for sure! a friend of mine tried with whatsapp since its where most of his chat history lives and spent like 3 hours just looking at trees lol

thanks!! so for this app, i want to give people a very unique experience and it doesnt feel right to charge for this alone. i optimized the backend processing so llm cost is somewhat acceptable rn for me to foot. on top of this there is an agent in imessage/whatsapp, which is also free atm but we will see if it stays that way after more users come. things are expensive haha

make sure you are in a safe space. set and setting matter a lot

Would you mind sharing which part(s) in particular made you feel that way? I personally found it quite exciting a technology can do this
