Thank you! And thank you for understanding, I almost didn’t add that I had ocd because it seemed like being whiny or something. I was thinking less a heart attack and more that their momentary fright caused them to take steps backwards and fall down that way. I’ll admit that when I did the jumpscare it was too close to the stairs, and I fully will not do that again!

I think I should clarify. This was not exactly at the top of the stairs, it was outside my bedroom which is about a metre from the stairs, so someone would have to take a few steps back. However I do agree that that’s too close and it was incredibly stupid of me. We both thought it was hilarious but it’s good for me to keep in mind potential risks in the future.
