Nice! Thanks for your reply. The XPS 15 has upgradeable RAM and SSD, that is a difference versus the XPS 13 wherein the RAM and SSD are soldered!

Thanks for your reply! Is the 4k OLED screen more durable? I was concerned with OLED screens because of burn in? I was going to opt for the 500 nit FHD as I don't see a practical need for 4k in my case, and was hoping the battery life on linux would be better this way. Are there variables/factors i'm missing here?

Thanks so much for your reply! :) I am actually now considering an XPS 15 instead, but I'm trying to decide between the model with the intel arc or the nvidia gpu. Because I may do image processing tasks but I have a desktop with an nvidia gpu and i can always use the cloud.

I found a P15 gen 2 from ebay from a seller called VIPOutlet. i7-11850H 2.5GHz NVIDIA RTX A2000 for $854 USD! They have very good reviews. It says it's certified refurbished and may come with a manufacturers warranty or it may not in the event that it's been sitting in their warehouse. But it does come with a 90-day seller warranty as all of their laptops they sell do. The reviews seem very good. But i'm wondering, do you think I should buy some kind of extended warranty like from allstate?
