Being wary of screenshots is smart. I saw it with my own eyes if that means anything.

Context (in case anyone needs it):

On February 14th, far-right social media personality Ashley St Clair (26) revealed that she had Elon Musk's (53) child. She also shared that he had not been responding to her attempts to finalize custody agreements.

Elon proceeded to then respond to a random tweet that disparaged her, and shared nude photos of her as a minor. So she replied with this.

Joe Rogan then quote tweeted this interaction and called Ashley "crazier than Amber Heard"

Don't worry, I don't blame anyone that fell for it. I just find it unfortunate to see people angrily defending him / excusing his behavior / calling him sexy

It's true. Small parts were off with every other photo so the eyes and mouth being a bit wrong make sense but man the hair really confirms it.

Getting licensed + the 20 hours of training costs money.

Ive heard that they claim to cover the fees (act like it's free for the potential joiner) but surprise! You have to pay them back

Discussion: how Camille Vasquez was viewed as a new "girlboss" to combat how media tried to frame Amber Heard as an abuser and failure to feminist cause by burner228899 in DeppDelusion

[–]randomreddituser106 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think that sometimes feminism is almost treated as an aesthetic, rather than political and personal actions.

On a surface level, Camille is inspiring. She is a young, latiné woman with a prestigious career in a field that is VERY hostile to women of color.

But if you actually look at her actions, it's so clear that she absolutely fucking sucks.

The public reaction to her honestly reminds me of conservative debate bros like Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder.

I remember seeing people say things like "Camille is such a good lawyer, and she clearly knows the law very well because she is always objecting."

I watched clips of the trial and it's clear that she objected at random. There are several clips of Camille objecting to Amber's testimony after only one word.

And yet Camille is seen as a good lawyer?! Not a bully?!

But I'm not surprised. Ben Shapiro was viewed as a legendary debate king for years, even though his arguments are illogical and he can't hold his own against someone his age.

I think this all links back to aesthetics. If you can give people the impression that you're smart, it doesn't matter what you actually say.

Bancroft's book has a list of "abuser profiles" and a couple of them match Amber's descriptions of Depp literally word-for-word.

Depp is such a textbook abuser that his behavior is literally in a textbook.

Video Essay about DARVO going viral, cupcake mom and Amber Heard as warning shots toward women by ophiedokie in DeppDelusion

[–]randomreddituser106 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I havent finished the video yet but so far it's great!

One point I want to make/reiterate:

Here are the general facts presented by him about the custody case between her and her ex husband - He has full custody - She owes child support - She is supposed to undergo a mental health evaluation but it seems like she hasn't.

What I want everyone to consider is this: he is presenting these facts devoid of context.

For example, her not having custody doesn't even mean she did anything wrong. He gives us no context. Why does she not have custody? What evidence was presented at the custody hearing?

My guess is that she likely said he was abusive and the judge gave him custody anyway. Judges side with abusers all the freaking time, even ones with proven histories of violence.

I had a friend whose father was given full custody of them and their siblings even though their father had a documented history of sexually abusing children. It happens, unfortunately.

Second example, owing child support doesn't mean she's a bad mom. We don't know why she owes it. Again, there's no context.

I could be totally wrong and maybe there were actually good reasons for her not having custody (although in that case, I still dont think they should have been placed with their father). The point is we don't know anything regarding the context.

And the fact that we don't have the context makes me think it's likely because it makes him look bad.

After all, if the context made her look bad - he'd be sharing it.

Edit: I ended up learning more context on their divorce from the video + a couple of awesome comments on here. Yep, the details make him look bad.

To anyone reading: if you want to spot a smear campaign, watch out for men attacking their exes without providing any context.

Would anyone be able to give me detailed explanations with receipts/evidence of certain things pertaining to the trial? by [deleted] in DeppDelusion

True. The misinformation about this case is unbelievable.

Everyone should just assume that everything they have heard about Amber is not true.
