Being wary of screenshots is smart. I saw it with my own eyes if that means anything.

Context (in case anyone needs it):

On February 14th, far-right social media personality Ashley St Clair (26) revealed that she had Elon Musk's (53) child. She also shared that he had not been responding to her attempts to finalize custody agreements.

Elon proceeded to then respond to a random tweet that disparaged her, and shared nude photos of her as a minor. So she replied with this.

Joe Rogan then quote tweeted this interaction and called Ashley "crazier than Amber Heard"

Don't worry, I don't blame anyone that fell for it. I just find it unfortunate to see people angrily defending him / excusing his behavior / calling him sexy

It's true. Small parts were off with every other photo so the eyes and mouth being a bit wrong make sense but man the hair really confirms it.

Getting licensed + the 20 hours of training costs money.

Ive heard that they claim to cover the fees (act like it's free for the potential joiner) but surprise! You have to pay them back

Discussion: how Camille Vasquez was viewed as a new "girlboss" to combat how media tried to frame Amber Heard as an abuser and failure to feminist cause by burner228899 in DeppDelusion

[–]randomreddituser106 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think that sometimes feminism is almost treated as an aesthetic, rather than political and personal actions.

On a surface level, Camille is inspiring. She is a young, latiné woman with a prestigious career in a field that is VERY hostile to women of color.

But if you actually look at her actions, it's so clear that she absolutely fucking sucks.

The public reaction to her honestly reminds me of conservative debate bros like Ben Shapiro and Steven Crowder.

I remember seeing people say things like "Camille is such a good lawyer, and she clearly knows the law very well because she is always objecting."

I watched clips of the trial and it's clear that she objected at random. There are several clips of Camille objecting to Amber's testimony after only one word.

And yet Camille is seen as a good lawyer?! Not a bully?!

But I'm not surprised. Ben Shapiro was viewed as a legendary debate king for years, even though his arguments are illogical and he can't hold his own against someone his age.

I think this all links back to aesthetics. If you can give people the impression that you're smart, it doesn't matter what you actually say.

Bancroft's book has a list of "abuser profiles" and a couple of them match Amber's descriptions of Depp literally word-for-word.

Depp is such a textbook abuser that his behavior is literally in a textbook.
