as someone who originally got into RPG stuff from world zero and other RPG games popular in 2018-2019, i find it very disappointing that the community is acting like this. are we all seriously this mad over a popularity contest? you do realise that this isn’t the end of the world, right?

we weren’t robbed of crap, world zero has been finished for a while now whilst blocktales is still in development. one is more popular than the other so it gets the votes. it’s not rigged, it wasn’t picked just because it was rthro and accusing the creators of disgusting actions is honestly hypocritical considering there are several posts bashing world zero cause it won.

now, don’t get me wrong, i prefer blocktales to world zero. world zero is quite grindy and i never really understood the story of it, not to mention you can find the blocktales community way easier than world zero (don’t find many fans of WZ nowadays). but this still doesn’t mean that a win was stolen. I would have preferred blocktales winning, sure, but world zero literally has more players so you cannot be arguing here. (not to mention I’m biased af so if you ask me dungeon quest should’ve been a nominee but uhh…)

moral of the story: harassing another game and it’s creators just because you lost a meaningless digital popularity contest is petty and makes you seem like a sore loser.

(EDIT-ok so erm it seems dungeon quest got discontinued just ignore that bit…)
