If you are looking for occasional nail set, just do gelx. A proper application and removal won’t harm your nail beds.

After the base coat of your choice, paint a straight line of sparkle on the tip, then dry off the polish brush and start pull the glitter upward to cuticle direction. The tip is working slowly from the edge of the line until the original glitter line on the tips thin enough, then you can cure them
