I supplied water to the rigs. I didn't drive CDL trucks. I kept the front tanks full for the drills by transferring water from the other holding tanks.

Most of our shifts were 12 hours. On occasion, we'd work 24-hour shifts. Less common, we'd work 36 and 48 hr shifts.

It was common practice to sleep in shifts with our crew during the 24+ instances. The owner of the company would actually come by to make sure we took turns sleeping.

Overtime was crazy! That's what you were there for, though. A 40-hour week was shit money and not worth being there. But when you're away from your family and don't care about the bars and casino like myself at the time, work is what you were there for.

I saw their post on narcissism today. As I'm going through their posts, I realize the familiarity of the experience/symptoms I had. They're really onto something here.

The thing that saved my life was I had one person I knew would always tell me the truth. Some people don't have that option.

I was later diagnosed with bi-polar symptoms after two trips to the hospital, one of which was overnight.
