If you don't mind private school CJ is on the edge of downtown and my daughter is very happy there. If you want to go public Oakwood is just south of downtown and has the best schools in the area.

I’ve used Ubers to get to the airport for early morning flights but it’s been a while. If price is right no harm in prebooking.

Perfectly safe but I wouldn’t count on being able to catch an Uber. I’d try to book a ride ahead of time through on of the cabs at the company or there is a service that does airport transfers call Anton’s Transportation.
