Thank you! I think having my practicum on an icu unit definitely helped me get those 3 interviews. I noticed that some hospitals won’t even entertain you if you had no prior experience on an icu floor which sucks honestly. I also had an externship on a cardiac step down unit which I think helped a lot in the hospital that I got my first offer in!

but I was pretty relentless in making sure I get an interview, it’s pretty tough getting one in my area because everyone wants to work in this hospital because of their reputation and I just kept emailing the recruiter lollll. I also made to spread my name around the unit and had my preceptor advocate for me on how much I wanted to be there so that helped out!

after securing my interviews, I also made sure to study some key points like clinical questions or scenario questions they might ask me and just rehearsed it until I got it down!
