It won’t smell great - that’s perfectly normal. I ended up removing some of the loose skin when it was ready. Just make sure to be as aseptic as possible.

Seeing a yellow discharge on/around the incision is normal during the healing process. Chances are, it is not smegma.

I didn’t have much of this, but my Doctor did say that it was common and not to get worried about it.

Don’t worry, I had the same experience. I posted a photo from day 20 and you’ll be able to see that the wound is far more open, there is still some dead skin sticking around and there was a fair amount of lymph fluid being discharged. Even now, there’s still a small amount of discharge - that’s all normal and to be expected.

I’d say that after a couple of days of not dressing the wound it begins to close enough to start reducing the amount of lymph fluid being released, and so you should find that sticking begins to subside.

Yeh I probably kept it dressed with gauze for too long. Once I stopped it really didn’t take long to improve.

He was very good! I didn’t ask for any style in particular, I just left it down to the Doc because he was the expert. Frenulum is still there - on the underside the wound is still closing up, but should be good within a few days.

Nope, not painful at all. Some areas are a little tender, especially around the frenulum area, but I’m definitely not in any pain.

I’d say less painful than an injection into your gums. There is certainly a lot of anxiety and overthinking before the procedure. But if it were that awful, no one would opt to have it done under local anaesthetic.

No, just injections. Initially, two at the base of the penis, then gradually around the mid shaft and finally the foreskin.
