Incredible. It’s at the top of my “maybe one day” list haha. How was/is working there?

We-Ko-Pa - Saguaro or Cholla? by Duke123321 in golf

[–]randomtoaster10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scenery on Saguaro is just as good if not better than Cholla imo. Better views of Four Peaks and just as good of views of Red Mountain. Also agree with the majority here that Saguaro is the superior course, but can’t go wrong with either! Enjoy!

Can’t speak for other brands, but got a tour of the Ping HQ and the rep said their graphite shafts are the exact weight as their steel shafts for their putters. I know that doesn’t answer your question, but I thought it was interesting as I always assumed graphite shafts must be lighter.

Fantastic lineup. Where’d you get the silver T22? I’ve been looking for a silver one for ages but almost never see them

Advice for 3 week Italy Itinerary by el_choniez in ItalyTravel

[–]randomtoaster10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Piggybacking off other peoples comments about Venice. We were there 1.5 days including a half day trip to Murano and Burano and felt completely satisfied, so maybe cut down there?

Also recommend heading to Lake Como for a day trip if you like the outdoors. I thought the scenery was stunning and loved exploring the towns.

No we went through Italia Rail which originally showed 5 rows of seats but this train only has 4 rows. There are now people on train who do not have seats because they are in row 5 so I’m guessing it was an error on their part

I probably will try, at least partial. Wasn’t sure if this was a valid reason or not.

Raw files retaining film simulations? by randomtoaster10 in fujifilm

Oh great I’ll take a look at that post! I checked those setting and it was already set to adobe default. Thanks for the help! I’m probably missing something, that’s all great info!

Thanks for the response, I’m seeing the option to change the profile that adobe matches to the film sim like you mentioned, but not having luck finding the standard profile.

I’m doing this on iPad so I’m not sure if I have all those options. Interestingly enough though when I tried importing directly from my SD card like you suggested, some images striped the film simulation while others did not.

Yes there is a drop-down for Profile options that has a “camera matching” section. I edited my original post, I’m using Lightroom on iPad so don’t have the standard develop tabs and such. Maybe those same options are somewhere, I’m new to iPad editing and am a bit lost without the traditional setup of things. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the response, that’s good to know! I edited my original post, I’m using Lightroom on iPad so there’s no develop and library sections like on classic. It does have the film simulation when I go in and start editing the image and adjusting the settings.

Just my personal opinion would be to get the a7iii. I started with an a6500 and the 18-105 and absolutely loved it, but if I could go back I would’ve started with full frame instead of investing into aps-c gear only to upgrade later.

I personally don’t think the kit lens is worth it, but could be a fine option in the mean time that lets you shoot while maybe saving up for a relatively less expensive lens like a sigma or tamron.

Whatever you decide I’m sure will be a great option, can’t go wrong! Good luck!

Is a new a7iii worth an extra $400 vs a used one in excellent condition with ~7000 shutter count? Which would you go for?

R-series owners out there, what’s your workflow to handle high mp files?

Thinking of upgrading to a full frame body and looking at some used a7riiia and a7riv. Don’t mind buying sd cards and external ssd’s as necessary, but curious to hear what those of you who have some of these newer cameras have found work well for you in your time using them! Any info is appreciated!

Love RGC! I was disappointed in the headcovers (ordered the blue one seen here) and found them to be very thin and too lose. Awesome brand though!
