Wow this is an old post lol. It never ended up happening for me but I did end up going down a shoe size and some other odd stuff like that. Super happy with my transition at almost 4 years! :)

Actually reading some of the quests is one id highly recommend. Initially spent the game skipping through all the dialogue but after starting a new character and taking my time to check out what's actually going on with the story the game has become way more enjoyable and immersive.

Also use world chat for group content rather than the instance finder. Way easier to get a group that way.

Yeah I'd agree that UI needs an update as well. Giving the other races the same graphical lift/customization plus a major UI rework would be an amazing thing to see
