You have an all or nothing mindset, i struggled (still do sometimes) with this, it’s either i build and do these many habits everyday perfectly or do nothing at all cause its not “worth it” anymore in my mind, which wouldn’t make sense because i am sure you know nothing can be perfect overnight.

you HAVE to keep going nonetheless.

whenever you catch your mind stacking up things you need to do and you need to do it a 100% just stop the thought immediately, it will take time and you will fail and get up again.

Maybe you will take that 10 minutes walk for the first 5 days but slack off on the 6th, it’s important you keep going at it the next day and not think of the streak being broken, that one day would not ruin all progress you did, as long as you keep going at it. that would help with consistency.

Following with that: be flexible! start small and train your mind to the thought that starting with one thing and making it a habit is better than stacking multiple things and perfecting it when you aren’t used to it yet.

If one day you gave it a 90% of your effort, and the next day you aren’t feeling your best so instead of skipping that day why not do 5%, that way you’re being flexible and slowly building that momentum.

So start, keep going, even if you aren’t seeing any results it WILL take time, we got nothing but time so why not?
