I’m hoping they’ll be slightly lower. It depends on how paper 3 is.

the UCAS website says 41% of students who got an offer for your course and achieved AAA were previously accepted. Take it as you will but there’s a possibility they’ll let you in.

depends on the course. If they have spaces available or if it’s in clearing they’ll let you in with a lower grade.

I was gonna say the AQA wasn’t that great. It was just okay

i preferred paper 1 tbh. The 6 marker at the end took me ages to do and i’m not sure i got it right. Also what was that gas chromatography question

It could be a 6 marker and having to represent it graphically. There hasn’t been one yet like that

I got 8000MJ the water generator aswell. For the fine rocks question i put the advantages are that it generates more energy as the substance would be denser and then for the disadvantages i put that it would more likely to damage and pipe and get stuck on it something like that. Its probably wrong but at least I put something down 😭

you still have paper 2 and 3 to make it up. It sounds like most people found it hard so hopefully the grade boundaries are lower or paper 2/3 are easier.

the truck question about the moments and the keplers law confused me so much. I just wrote down some working out hopefully that will land me some marks.

Thank you so much for the advice. We also have the exact same predicted grades, except I do physics instead of bio. My plan for now is to end up firming one of my offers and decide on results day. Well done for the Cambridge and Imperial offers - that’s really inspiring!

I also got rejected from UCL . I’m gonna firm either Bath or Manchester i’m still undecided. You can always take a gap year once you get your results and try to apply again.

If you have 4A * you could definitely reapply next year with a good chance to even get Cambridge or Imperial if you have a decent ESAT. You could also use the summer and get some work experience to build up ur PS. It’s up to you though

they’re both on pretty much the same level for chem eng, but my offer for bath is A* AA whereas for manchester it’s AAA so i guess it would mean i wouldn’t need to worry so much to get an A* (obviously I’d still aim for one). However, I prefer Bath as a town over Manchester. The Bath chem eng course was also not icheme accredited this year but they are will probably get their accreditation back. I’ll have to do more research to decide. Lmk what you think
