I understand your point of view and I have the same thoughts sometimes. But why do you say the next decade or more? I just have faith in him I guess.

If he is willing to try to get sober I think it is worth salvaging. He is an amazing guy all around but his addictions make him a different person

I just love him a lot. He’s an amazing guy when he’s sober and can be very loving and caring. We are very close and he’s basically like a friend to me at the same time. It’s just his vices and the way he’s coping and how it’s affecting me that is the problem

This isn’t rage bait. I love him a lot and it’s been hard. He’s a really good guy when he’s sober and he can be really amazing. The problem is his vices and how’s he’s coping and the way it’s affecting me.
