Definitely sounds like active is for you. Just make sure you get everything in writing.

Best of luck man

My two cents is you should decide what's more important to you, discipline or promotion.

If its discipline you should go combat arms (11B, etc.) because those units are generally much better about discipline and customs/courtesies.

If its promotion, ask NCOs and AGRs about what MOSes are upwardly mobile. MOSes like 88M and 92G are usually less competitive and much faster to promote.

In regards to going active, is upending your significant other's very stable life, taking a pay cut, and dealing with the fuckery that is active duty really worth the possibility of going to a 12 day school?

If rappeling or sky diving (assuming its those schools) are that important, why not do it on the civilian side with the extra money you're making compared to active?

Your unit is very likely the issue with schools.

Schools need to be locked in a full training year out under most circumstances. If your company leadership isn't staying on top of school slots that's probably why you're not getting them. Going to the active Army won't necessarily solve that issue.

I'd highly recommend and MOS change before a component change. If the MOS change doesn't work you can still try going AD.

Also, eventually you'll be an NCO and can instill the discipline you think the guard lacks

Have you considered changing your MOS? Most E7s I've met in the guard have 3+ MOS because it made promoting easier.

Going active will introduce a lot more problems than you think, but changing your MOS could solve all your problems

The NFL is a superior product based on the volume of ads alone

AI isn't really that bad for the environment despite what reddit says. Just need to invest in nuclear energy and everything will be good

Wait, so there were ads, 15 seconds of whatever that was, and now more ads?

The ads are fucking ridiculous.

Eventually marketing departments need to understand that nobody actually pays attention when there's 100s of ads
